Yah! Back to HK..... We had our last buffet breakfast at Felicity Hotel before departing for HK at 8am... that was much earlier than expected.....
Bye Shenzhen!
***For your information, we're totally on our own for the trip from now on***
We reached back Hung Hom station at about 9.45am..... a shuttle bus picked us up and we reached our hotel, Harbour View YMCA International House at about 10am..... think we kena cheated..... there wasn't any "harbour view" from our hotel room..... we got the side of the hotel not facing Victoria Harbour ._.'''
Harbour View International House entrance
the hotel room.... notice tat i drew the curtains...... the view was horrendous
anyway, we freshened up and left the hotel at 10.45am to get to Wan Chai MTR station..... bought our Octopus card there for HK$150 and left for our first stop of the day, Tin Hau Temple....
Wan Chai MTR station
On our way to Tin Hau Temple
Tin Hau Temple
Tin Hau Temple looks like any regular temple that we have here in Singapore.....so next stop Victoria Park
Next is the shopping haven, Causeway Bay. It's like our Orchard road but very much bigger...... i can still remember going into the SOGO there and they actually have lift attendents!!.... So nostalgic..... Anyway, Causeway Bay is loaded with major deparmental stores... but i didn't buy anthing there....
The In Square
Lunch was at Cafe de Coral in Times Square.... i had this delicious Chicken chop with mushroom sauce and rice..... very nice!
Cafe De Coral
mmmhhh.....yummy!
After that, we walked out to the main road to catch the tram to Admiralty..... The ride on the tram is fixed at HK$2 no matter you go.... very cheap and convenient....
The tram
Me on the upper-deck of the tram
Admiralty is home to many of the famous sky-scrapers on Hong Kong island..... they include the Bank of China, Lippo Centre.....

Next was Li Yuen Street East / West at Central..... The Supreme almost led me the wrong had i not exercised my EXPERT navigational skills :p hahaha.....
me standing at the entrance of Li Yuen Street West
Li Yuen street is a street market like our Pasar Malam..... I didn't anything too cuz I think there will be greater selection at Ladies' Market....
Next was the Central Mid-Levels Escalator.....it is the longest outdoor covered escalator system in the world..... The escalator starts at Queen's Street and ends at the Mid-Levels which is already halfway up the Peak..... The whole journey takes about 20 minutes..... One thing I like about HK is that the people are very considerate when taking any escalators..... Those who need not rush always keep to their right so that those who need to rush could use the left hand side of the escalator..... Singapore on the other hand, some ignorant people just stand in the middle to block everyone or stand on the wrong side...... haiz....
The Mid-Levels Escalator
Finally, we reached Mid-Level, bypassing SOHO along the way......
SOHO during the day
Mid-Levels.... on our way to the zoo.... it's free
Making our way from Mid-Levels down to the Peak Tram Station
next is the Peak Tram station to take the tram up to The Peak
The Peak Tram station to my right
By the way, the weather up at The Peak wasn't as cold as I expected..... but is very windy... There were two lookout points at The Peak, the Lion's Gate and LUGUARD ROAD!!!! Lion's Gate was just beside the tram station while Luguard was like 2-3km away..... But the walk was worth it..... the lookout point at Luguard wasn't crammed with tourists so we had a lot of space to enjoy the panoramic view of Hong Kong....
think we stayed there till sunset to see the whole HK light up with the neon displays... very very beautiful!!!
Picture was taken at about 6pm

Finally, it was time to descend the Peak.... Once we reached the bottom, we took this open-top double decker bus back to Central in search for dinner....
we found this wonton mee shop selling noodles at HK$15 and went in straight away to order wonton mee... i had Wonton Mee with Braised Pig Trotter.. i was amazed at the mere size of the wonton..... i've never seen a bigger wonton in my life.... it's slightly bigger than a golf ball!!!
The Supreme and me posing with our wonton mee....
Alas, the wonton mee.... look at how big the wonton is(compare with the pig trotter)!
After dinner, it's back to the hotel for a good night sleep....
